SKYJACK EXPANDS ASIAN PRESENCE WITH NEW INDONESIAN DEALER
Linamar Corporation’s (TSX-LNR) Skyjack division has recently partnered with a new dealer, Multicrane Perkasa, to provide Skyjack lifts to Indonesia. The aerial work platform (AWP) manufacturer is expanding its Asian network to better support the rapidly developing infrastructure throughout the region. Multicrane Perkasa is a heavy equipment dealer that specializes in providing high quality brands from reputable manufacturers.
Simon Cracknell, Skyjack’s business development director for Asia, believes that Indonesia is a market with great potential for Skyjack. The Indonesian government is committed to more equitable infrastructure development across the country and has allocated a large budget to growing the country’s infrastructure through new construction and maintenance projects.
“Skyjack products are designed to be simple and reliable to operate and maintain, making them very attractive to equipment users and owners,” said Cracknell. “Skyjack’s core values of easy to do business are significant in emerging and geographically challenged regions, which make them the perfectly placed to support Asia’s growing infrastructure.”
Supporting a growing country
Multicrane Perkasa, located in Jakarta, has invested in stock of boom and, electric scissor lifts. The company announced the launch of its partnership with Skyjack at Mining Indonesia show and product is now available for sale in the Indonesian market.
The distributor chose to supply Skyjack lifts because of their quality and reliability. Skyjack’s simply reliable machines are known for their proven design and easy, low cost maintenance – a very valuable asset for equipment owners. Multicrane Perkasa has four locations on three different islands, providing equipment for projects in infrastructure, oil and gas, mining and logistics.
Multicrane Perkasa is a strong advocate for the growth of Indonesia’s infrastructure, and hopes that adding Skyjack equipment to its fleet will help the company contribute more to the country’s target growth goals.

Skyjack’s Asia expansion
