Skyjack Expands Its Brand Identity

June 28, 2018; Guelph, Ontario – Linamar Corporation’s (TSX:LNR) Skyjack division is extending its mantra of “simply reliable” to its brand identity and you can expect to see new graphic elements being added to the company’s marketing material. This new minimalistic icon, derived from the current logo and dubbed Skyjack’s Talons represent an additional graphic device that will compliment the existing Skyjack logo and simply reliable tagline which will very much remain in use.
“Over the past few months our team has been experimenting with graphic elements and trying to capture a look that optimizes our brand for a mobile first era,” says Malcolm Early, vice president of marketing at Skyjack. “We pride ourselves on being a company that is simply reliable, and that needs to ring true to our marketing efforts as well. Our team still stands by our ‘simply reliable’ logo , but the addition of Talons to our marketing toolkit ensures that we’re easily recognized via the plethora of new digital media.”
“As with any company operating with a classic logo in the digital age, Skyjack noticed its online appearance becoming challenging to decipher when shrunken down for smaller screen applications,” says Chantal Theoret, global marketing communications manager at Skyjack.
Skyjack is fully immersing Talons into their material and will continue to do so as they revisit their marketing material. Skyjack has already added an assortment of merchandise boasting the new Talons to their online store shop.skyjack.com and includes products like 3-in-1 coozies, mugs, t-shirts, and ballcaps.
