Skyjack Showcases New Models and Updates at Bauma 2025

April 7, 2025; Linamar Corporation’s (TSX:LNR) Skyjack division arrives at bauma 2025 celebrating their 40th anniversary with an exciting lineup of new and updated models and features. 

Skyjack’s E-Drive line will make their European show debut at bauma. The simply electric range is designed to give users more, with improved efficiency, controllability, and torque. The innovative drive system provides exceptional duty cycles and fully proportional controls, which offer a superior drive experience.

“We’re thrilled to showcase our expanded E-Drive line in their European show debut,” explained Charlie Patterson, President, Skyjack. “These scissors boost productivity with an improvement of up to 20% in runtime per charge, while consistent power, traction, torque make these scissor lifts an ideal choice for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications. We’re happy to have our SJ3219 E, SJ3226 E and SJ4740 E on hand to represent the range.”

In addition to the E-Drive scissors, bauma will also mark the first showing of Skyjack’s upcoming hybrid rough terrain boom range. The new machines offer three modes of operation with electric, automatic and manual. Available with 51ft (15.7m) and 66ft (20.1m) working heights and suitable for indoor and outdoor use, the SJ45 AJHE + and SJ60 AJHE + models include many of the design features that users come to expect from Skyjack. Attendees will be able to see the SJ45 AJHE + for themselves at the booth. 

“Our new range of hybrid rough terrain booms is another machine that we’re looking forward to showcasing on stand at bauma,” explained Patterson. “This new boom line provides a clean, quiet and sustainable rental solution while meeting true job site performance expectations.”

In addition to the two European show debuts in the E-Drive and hybrid rough terrain boom ranges, the Skyjack stand will also offer electric rough terrain booms, alongside classics like vertical mast lifts and rough terrain scissors. 

Skyjack’s battery powered electric rough terrain articulated booms - the SJ45 AJE + and the SJ60 AJE + - boast exceptional duty cycle performance, capable of supporting more than a typical full day’s use of machine operation. The all-electric axle-based drive offers excellent traction, while high performance AC electric traction and pump motors deliver high torque power and consistent multi-function capability. The SJ60 AJE + will be on site for attendees to view. 

Representing the vertical mast range, the SJ20 E provides a quiet and versatile package with zero emissions. Exceptional maneuverability and Skyjack’s unique traversing platform make these Next Generation masts an ideal choice for a wide range of indoor and outdoor construction, maintenance, and industrial applications.

Representing the rough terrain scissors will be the SJ6832 RT and the SJ9253 RT. Skyjack’s rough terrain scissors offer a large working area, impressive platform capacities, unequaled rough terrain performance and optional self-leveling outriggers, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of construction, maintenance, and industrial applications.
