The first option is the AWPT Program. AWPT (American Work Platform Training) is the North American subsidiary of IPAF (International Powered Access Federation), the most successful and widely recognized provider of aerial work platform training programs in the world. The AWPT Program is generic in nature and is based on the IPAF program, the only safety training program certified to be in compliance with the new ISO Standard 18878 Mobile elevating work platforms - Operator(driver) training. As a result of a collaborative effort between Skyjack and AWPT to adapt the European IPAF program to the North American market, Skyjack has opened two AWPT authorized Training Centers, one in St. Charles, IL, USA and the other in Guelph, Ontario, CANADA
